DAY 1 - WEST ICELAND

Enroute we explore the Borgarfjordur fjord dotted with uncountable islands, the Deildartunguhver hot springs and Barnafossar waterfalls; and "the valleys" of Dalir where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset. Overnight in Fellsstrond beach at a country hotel with a beautiful view over the Breidafjordur fjord and the Snæfellsnes peninsula, a fantastic backdrop for the Northern Lights.

DAY 2 & 3 - SOUTHERN WESTFJORDS

Drive to the Southern Westfjords and stay two nights in Patreksfjordur, from where you can explore the remote and picturesque villages of Bildudalur, Talknafjordur and Patreksfjordur; enjoy stunning views over the great Arnarfjordur fjord; relax in geothermal hot springs; and look out for northern lights in the evenings.

DAY 4 - LATRABJARG & BREIDAVIK

Today's program is weather and road condition dependent, options include: The Latrabjarg cliffs and the golden beaches of Breidavik and Orlygshofn, the red hued beach of Raudasandur, and Dynjandi waterfall & the Dynjandisheidi heath. Take an early evening ferry from the Westfjords to the Snæfellsnes peninsula, with time for a Northern Lights hunt from Stykkisholmur in the late evening. Stay two nights in Stykkisholmur.

DAY 5 - SNAEFELLSNES

Today start by exploring the colourful Berserkjahraun lava fields and the iconic Kirkjufell mountain. We then head to the magical Snæfellsnes National Park: a wonderland featuring amazing beach rock formations, scattered craters and of course the Snaefellsjokull glacier itself.
